A safe place to get good at AI, with people doing the same.

AI Skillz Club is a friendly, safe, and genuinely fun space where ambitious but time-poor makers and leaders learn to work with AI, together. Because it sits outside of work, there’s no judgement, no expectation, no pressure.

It’s for people who believe in the positive, ethical use of AI, and want to learn how to put it to work, making real change in their own workplaces and industries.

“It’s addictive to hear what everyone’s doing with AI.”

We think AI should be used to create better, not just to cut costs.

Our purpose is to help industries shift from taking more than they give back, toward creating services that regenerate rather than deplete. That means evolving what they offer, and building it fast.

AI is what makes that speed possible. That’s the work we point it at. It’s the reason the Club exists.

Confident new-service creators, and AI used for good.

The Club helps organisations, leaders and contributors become confident creators of new services, championing AI as a force for sustainable progress. Three things make that happen.

Create

Move real work forward: your own projects, and the outcomes of your team and industry.

Inspire

Seeing how others turn thinking into things they've actually made sparks ideas in everyone else. Half-formed ideas catch light and become real. The inspiration compounds.

Collaborate

Get feedback and nuance from other perspectives. Use difference as fuel for more creative, more effective outcomes.

A place to learn that isn’t tangled up with your job.

Learning something new is hard enough without doing it in front of colleagues, or with your boss’s ROI expectations in the room. So the Club is deliberately separate from work. No hierarchy, no performance review, no one keeping score.

That’s the point. It’s a safe space to be a beginner, ask the obvious question, try the thing that might not work, and admit what you don’t know yet. And because the people in the room come from strategy, design, product, marketing and operations, not your team, the feedback is fresh and honest.

It isn’t connected to your work. But it will make you sharper in it.

No judgement

Everyone here is figuring AI out. Beginners welcome, questions encouraged, mistakes expected.

Not your workplace

Separate from your job, your team, and the pressure. Learn freely, then take it back to work.

Real people, real work

A live group who actually know what they're talking about, because they're doing the same thing you are.

What we believe about using AI well

The Club runs on a few principles. They shape how we build, what we make, and how we talk about AI.

Ethical

We use AI in service of a better, more sustainable world. The net effect has to be positive.

Responsible

Building code with AI isn't the same as building software that's sustainable, secure and robust. We promote responsible practices: software that stands up, and gives back to the field it's built on.

Realistic

Today's generative AI isn't magic, and it isn't intelligence. What it's brilliant at is accelerating the making of new ideas. Other systems may go further. We stay realistic about what's possible now, and open to what's coming.

Human creativity first

AI earns its place by freeing us up: less time lost to admin, less bias in our decisions, more room to build new services. The Club is where that creativity gets sharper, together.

What happens in the sessions

Every two weeks, members get together online and show each other what they’ve been building with AI. A tool, an automation, a workflow, a prototype, a new service, a business idea, or an experiment that went sideways. You demo, people respond, and you leave with feedback, ideas, and usually something you want to try next.

Seeing what others are doing is half the value. Hearing how they got there is the other half.

Come ready to demo.

Every session, members bring something they’ve been building with AI. It doesn’t have to be finished. It just has to be real. The more you put in, the more you get back.

What being a member looks like

Fortnightly demo sessions

Live, online, every two weeks. Bring what you've been building, demo it to the group, and get feedback from people who get it.

Real feedback from real people

Not a forum or a comment thread. A live room of smart people from across strategy, design, product, marketing and ops. The range of perspectives is what makes the feedback good.

Momentum

The hardest part of learning AI is not stopping. When you know you'll see the group in two weeks, you keep going. When you see someone else's progress, you want more of your own.

A growing shared library

Sessions are recorded. Every tool, workflow and idea shared becomes part of a library members can draw on. The longer you're in, the more you have to build from.

It’s free to join. No catch, no credit card, no upsell to sit through.

Is this you?

The Club is for ambitious, time-poor knowledge workers who know AI matters and want to actually get good at using it: consultants, strategists, designers, marketers, operators, founders, freelancers. People who’ve read the newsletters and watched the videos and still don’t feel they can properly do much with it.

You don’t need to be technical. You just need to be curious, building something, and up for learning in good company.

What members say

It's the fun one that has to stay on the schedule.

I couldn't believe it. It just came out.

We’ll add you to the group. Bring something you’re working on to your first session and you’ll get more out of it than you expect.

Ready to build something real?

Membership is where you learn, share and stay current. When you want to go from experimenting to shipping, there’s the Build Day: a full Saturday where you build a real, live product with AI, in a small group, with two facilitators and a one-to-one coaching session after. Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Joining the Club and coming to the fortnightly sessions costs nothing. The only paid thing we offer is the optional Build Day workshop, and you never have to take it.

I'm a total beginner with AI. Will I keep up?

Absolutely. Most members started exactly there. It's built to be a safe space for beginners: questions welcome, no judgement.

What should I bring to a session?

Anything you've been building with AI. A tool, a workflow, a prototype, an experiment that went sideways. It doesn't have to be finished. The more real it is, the better the feedback.

What if I'm in a different time zone?

You're welcome. Sessions are online, and every session is recorded so you can catch up whenever suits you.

Is this connected to my employer?

No. The Club is deliberately separate from work, a space to learn freely that isn't tied to your job or your team.

What will you do with my email?

Send you session details and the occasional Club update. No spam, no selling your data.
