Why this workshop
Whatever your starting point, the best way to learn AI is to build something real with it. Not watch videos. Not sit through slide decks. Build.
In this workshop, that something real is a business. From first idea to live website, payment taking, and a marketing test, all in a day. If it sounds ambitious, that’s because it is. But you will do it. People always do.

“It’s addictive to hear what everyone’s doing with AI.”
“I couldn’t believe it. It just came out.”
“Thanks to all the feedback and having to talk about it — it has been motivating!”
Why this works
The moment you start using AI, the learning begins. You don’t need a structured curriculum. You need a reason to start, people to learn alongside, and someone experienced in the room when you hit a wall.
Our facilitators come from design and creative backgrounds. We bring that into how we use AI, and we’ll help you bring it into how you use it too.
We call it creative empowerment. Not AI training. Because the goal is not to learn the tools. It’s to do things with them you didn’t think you could.

Live instruction
Real guidance, not pre-recorded content. Ask anything, go deep on what matters to you.
Small groups
Maximum four participants. You get actual attention, not a seat in a room.
Build to learn
You leave with something working. A real product you built yourself, with AI, in a day.
Who you’ll be learning with

Dan has spent 25 years in design, strategy, and creative leadership, working with organisations across tech, health, energy, and consumer sectors. He founded AI Skillz Club to create the space he wished had existed when he started learning AI. He believes the best way to understand a tool is to make something with it that matters to you.

Tom is a product strategist and one of the founding members of AI Skillz Club. He’s been building with AI since the early days of the community and has a knack for making complex ideas click for people at any level.
For teams
We run private Build Days for teams who want to move fast together. Same format, same facilitators — shaped around your team’s goals, tools, and context.
Tell us about your team and what you want to get out of it. We'll be in touch to talk through what a private Build Day could look like for you.
Get in touch →What’s included
9:30am to 4:30pm GMT, with two facilitators throughout. Online, on a Saturday, so you arrive Monday ready.
After the workshop, a private session with one of the facilitators. Demo what you built, get feedback, and map out where to take it next.
Fortnightly online sessions where members show up with anything they want to demo, get feedback from the group, and keep moving. This is where the community lives.
Full agenda
Install Claude and Lovable. Understand when to use Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and Lovable. Get to grips with context, prompting, and how to customise your setup.
By the end · You know which tools do what and you're ready to build.
Use Cowork to research your market. Build an interactive dashboard for your business model. Brief Claude Code on the customer experience you want to create.
By the end · You have a researched, shaped concept and know how to verify your data.
Build synthetic personas from real signals and data. Install them as AI skills. Create a mini focus group to test your ideas against real customer types.
By the end · You're making decisions based on who you're building for, not guesswork.
Set up your local environment, GitHub, and Vercel. Source and integrate data. Wire up databases and APIs. Build and deploy a live, working version of your core service.
By the end · Your product is live on the internet.
Brainstorm your launch angle. Generate promotional content shaped by your personas. Build a smoke test website in Lovable. Assign a domain and publish.
By the end · Your marketing is live and you're testing real demand.
What were your biggest learnings? What gaps are still there? What does your next coaching session look like, and how do you keep building from here?
By the end · A clear picture of where you are and exactly what to do next.
What you leave with
AI Skillz Club Membership
When you book the day, you don’t just get one Saturday. You join AI Skillz Club.
AI is not something you learn once. It moves too fast for that, and the real skills come from building repeatedly, seeing what others are doing, and staying in the conversation. The Club is what makes that possible.
Fortnightly demo sessions
Every two weeks, members get together online and show each other what they’ve been building. It could be a tool, an automation, a new workflow, a prototype, a business idea, a complete experiment that went sideways. Anything goes. You demo, people respond, and you leave with feedback, ideas, and usually something you want to try next.
Seeing what others are doing is half the value. Hearing how they got there is the other half.
Real feedback from real people
Not a forum. Not a comment thread. A live group who actually know what they’re talking about, because they’re doing the same thing you are. Members come from design, strategy, product, marketing, and operations. The range of perspectives is what makes the feedback good.
Momentum
The hardest part of learning AI is stopping. The Club solves that. When you know you’re going to demo something in two weeks, you keep building. When you see someone else’s progress, you want more of your own. The community is the accountability, without any of the pressure.
A growing shared knowledge base
Every demo session is recorded. Every tool, workflow, and idea shared becomes part of a library that members can access and build on. The longer you’re in the Club, the more you have to draw from.
“It’s addictive to hear what everyone’s doing with AI.”
“It’s the fun one that has to stay on the schedule.”
Membership is included in the price of the day. There are no extra fees, no upsells. You come for the workshop and you stay for the community.
